Tip-Tops Absorb 5-2 Loss at Handlan's Park
St. Louis got a strong outing from Elmer Leonard as the Terriers defeated the Brooklyn Tip-Tops, 5-2, at Handlan's Park. Ballplayer Christman picked up the save for St. Louis, his 1st of the year. The Tip-Tops fall to 7-9 and continue their uninspiring start to the 1915 season.

Having an impact for St. Louis was Robert Middleton. In the bottom of the seventh inning, the 26-year old left fielder had a run-scoring double to make the score 3-2, Terriers.

Leonard called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
