Terriers Pitching Ravaged by Casey
Getting 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day, so it was a special occasion for Tip-Tops's Joe Casey at Washington Park today. Casey put up a 5-for-5 line against the St. Louis Terriers, swinging the bat with authority all day despite his club's eventual 7-2 loss.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Casey said after the game. "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em. I had a great day, but it's disappointing to lose."

Disappointed or not, he still gets his name in the record books. Joe Casey singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Currently Casey is batting .287 with 2 home runs and 12 RBIs.
