Blues Find a Way to Win
The Buffalo Blues stopped the Kansas City Packers, 9-8, behind an impressive performance from Carl Zamloch. The 25-year old first baseman made life miserable for Kansas City pitching. He was 4 for 6 with a triple and 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Blues sport a record of 21-32.

In the bottom of the 11th, Ernie Walker knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring double off Kansas City pitcher George Payne.

"Winning never gets dull," said Walker.
