Baltimore starter Fred Lamlein had a strong outing against the St. Louis Terriers at Terrapin Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Baltimore raised its record to 32-28 with the win.

In the bottom of the sixth inning of a 1-1 tie, Baltimore third baseman Fred Graf hit a run-scoring single. It broke the deadlock and put Baltimore on top, 2-1.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Lamlein said.
