Packers Take Down Tip-Tops, 2-1
Both teams had their chances, but the Kansas City Packers eventually prevailed.

Kansas City Packers starter Rip Hagerman turned in a top-notch performance against the Brooklyn Tip-Tops at Gordon and Koppel Field. The result was a win for the Packers, 2-1. The last-place Tip-Tops have dropped 7 straight games.

The Packers got a big at-bat from center fielder Duke Kenworthy, who in the bottom of the eighth hit a run-scoring double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Packers on top, 2-1.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Hagerman.
