The home crowd had a good time watching the Pittsburgh Rebels and Baltimore Terrapins get after it.

The Pittsburgh Rebels got a superb performance from pitcher Albert Cummings. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Baltimore. The Terrapins won the game, 6-5. Cummings threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Ballplayer Sherrin, credited with the win, is now 11-6. He allowed no runs on no hits.

Watt Powell delivered a run-scoring single in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Terrapins. For the game, Powell went 1 for 4 with a walk.

"Drama and more drama," said Terrapins manager John Sustaita. "That's baseball at its finest."

With the win, Baltimore pushed its record to 36-31.
