The Kansas City Packers picked up a win at Gordon and Koppel Field, knocking off the Buffalo Blues, 8-4. On the mound for Kansas City was right-hander Rip Hagerman, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win gives Kansas City a season record of 38-36.

With runs few and far between, the Packers had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for Kansas City came in the bottom of the second inning, when right fielder Earle Gardner delivered a 2-run double. The double was hit off A. Humphrey and made the score 2-0, Packers. Gardner was 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
