The St. Louis Terriers topped the Brooklyn Tip-Tops, 3-1, in Federal League action at Washington Park. The standout performance belonged to St. Louis pitcher and Napa, California, native Elmer Leonard. With the win, St. Louis pushed its record to 43-36.
