The Tip-Tops grabbed a win, 4-3, at Federal League Park, overcoming a fine effort from Buffalo pitcher A. Humphrey. Humphrey went 9 innings and allowed 3 runs. The win has Brooklyn at 39-67.

In the top of the 17th, center fielder M. Burke hit a run-scoring double to right. The double, which was hit off of Frank Larson, gave Brooklyn a 4-3 lead.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Buffalo manager Hjalmar Rozema. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
