Terrapins Come Back Late, Nip Blues
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Baltimore Terrapins and the Buffalo Blues, pitcher Ballplayer Sherrin was the difference between victory and defeat. The Baltimore right-hander earned accolades in the 2-1 Terrapins win. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Terrapins.
Carl Sawyer clinched the win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the ninth. In the game, the Baltimore second baseman was 1 for 4.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Sherrin.
