The St. Louis Terriers topped the Brooklyn Tip-Tops, 10-2, in Federal League action at Washington Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of St. Louis shortstop Henry Chancey. The winner was Clint Rogge, who threw 129 pitches over 9 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 6 hits. With the victory, the Terriers upped their record to 62-58.

In the top of the second, with the game still scoreless, Chancey hit a run-scoring single to put his team in the lead.
