Rebels Get 6-4 Win Versus Brooklyn
|
Pittsburgh Rebels starter Marc Hall was in fine form against the Brooklyn Tip-Tops at Exposition Park, leading his team to a win, 6-4. Cy Barger was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 14 save opportunities. The triumph puts Pittsburgh at 64-58 for the season.
In the bottom of the first, with Pittsburgh trailing 1-0, the Tip-Tops made a critical error. The blunder allowed Pittsburgh to score 2 and take the lead, 2-1.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Hall.
