Rebels Jolt Tip-Tops, 7-6, with Late Rally
The Pittsburgh Rebels defeated the Brooklyn Tip-Tops, 7-6, in Federal League action at Exposition Park. Pittsburgh pitcher Walt Dickson had a standout performance. Pittsburgh pitcher Cy Barger got the win, upping his record to 5-7. Carl Hiatt got the loss. With the victory, the Rebels upped their record to 65-58.

In the bottom of the ninth, Charles Jackson delivered the big blow for Pittsburgh, stroking a game-winning run-scoring triple off Brooklyn pitcher Carl Hiatt.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Dickson.
