Morse Propels Brooklyn Offense in 13-1 Rout
Getting a good performance from second baseman Hap Morse, the Brooklyn Tip-Tops defeated the Pittsburgh Rebels, 13-1. Morse hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Tip-Tops. The Tip-Tops raised their record to 47-77.

The Tip-Tops took a 5-0 lead in the top of the second inning. Facing Pittsburgh hurler Allan Collamore with two outs, Morse hit a 3-run home run.

Pittsburgh manager Frank Collins called the blowout loss "just something that happens from time to time."
