Rebels Score Late to Upend Terrapins, 8-7
The Pittsburgh Rebels defeated the Baltimore Terrapins, 8-7. Doing his part was center fielder Charles Jackson, who was 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Pittsburgh pitcher Walt Dickson got the win, upping his record to 2-3. Wish Egan got the loss. The win elevated the Rebels to 68-62.

In the bottom of the ninth, Ody Abbott had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring ground out to left off Baltimore pitcher Wish Egan.

"That's how to finish a ballgame," said Abbott.
