Killefer, Terrapins Too Much for Whales
Red Killefer left his imprint on the 8-4 Baltimore win against the Chicago Whales. Killefer went 4 for 4 with 3 doubles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. D. Condon got the win, improving to 7-1. He pitched 9 innings, giving up 10 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 0. With the win, Baltimore raised its record to 71-62.

Early in the game, Killefer had a bases-clearing double for Baltimore. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Terrapins on top, 4-1.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Killefer said.
