Whales Make Tip-Tops 6-3 Losers
1915 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the Brooklyn Tip-Tops.

The Chicago Whales picked up a win at Washington Park, knocking off the Brooklyn Tip-Tops, 6-3. Starting pitcher L. Lewis was a big reason why. Lewis went the distance for Chicago. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits.

Eddie Hohnhorst aided the Chicago cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Lewis said.

With the win, Chicago pushed its record to 72-63.
