Tip-Tops Lose Again, 7-3, to Terrapins
|
The Baltimore Terrapins picked up a win at Terrapin Park, taking down the Brooklyn Tip-Tops, 7-3. Starting pitcher D. Condon was a big reason why. Condon, now 8-1, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 13 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. The slumping Tip-Tops have dropped 6 in a row.
Watt Powell was vital part of the Baltimore win. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, Powell hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 3-2, in favor of the Terrapins.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Powell said.
