Kansas City Packers starter Mark Higbee was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Baltimore Terrapins, 4-1. The 7th-place Packers have a record of 69-71.
Kansas City took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Higbee hit a bases-clearing triple. His 3rd triple of the season made the score 3-0, Kansas City.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Higbee said.
