St. Louis picked up a win at Terrapin Park, bumping off the Baltimore Terrapins, 4-2. Pitcher Elmer Leonard was a major reason the Terriers emerged victorious. Ensign Cottrell earned the save, his 2nd in 2 tries. With the victory, the Terriers upped their record to 74-70.

In the top of the second, shortstop Henry Chancey hit a run-scoring single to center. The single, which was hit off of Fred Lamlein, gave St. Louis a 1-0 lead.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said St. Louis manager Troy Sinclair.
