Terriers Deal Rebels 5-4 Loss
|
St. Louis picked up a win at Exposition Park, bumping off the Pittsburgh Rebels, 5-4. Pitcher Clint Rogge was a major reason the Terriers emerged victorious. The win puts St. Louis at 76-71 this season.
Contributing to the St. Louis win was Ballplayer Manush. In the top of the sixth, the 30-year old first baseman had a run-scoring ground out. That made the score 5-0, the Terriers in front.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Rogge.
