Terrapins Need Extra Frames to Get Past Pepper
In a tight game between the Baltimore Terrapins and the Newark Pepper, pitcher Fred Lamlein was terrific on the mound. The Baltimore right-hander helped his team to the 1-0 win. Baltimore raised its record to 77-71 with the win.

Lamlein threw a complete game for Baltimore, allowing no runs on 5 hits. Dutch struck out 7 and walked 1.
