Ed Fitzpatrick of the Kansas City Packers had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 1914.

The 24-year-old left fielder put up a .274 average and a .350 on-base percentage, piling up 150 hits, 22 doubles, 18 triples, 8 home runs, 67 RBIs and 94 runs scored.

He received 4 first place votes out of a possible 8. Art Hoelskoetter of the Pittsburgh Rebels finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Bill K Rodgers of the Indianapolis Hoosiers finished third.
