Starting pitcher William Robertson was a major factor in the 2-1 Cincinnati Reds triumph over the Boston Braves. Cincinnati now owns a record of 60-83.
Bill Rariden won the game with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the 11th. In the contest, the Cincinnati catcher went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
"We own our own mistakes," Robertson told a reporter after the game. "But we share our victories."
