Indians Lose to Red Sox in Walk Off

The Boston Red Sox racked up a win at Fenway Park , bumping off the Cleveland Indians, 4-3. Roger Edmondson, who started for Boston, pitched effectively for his team. At 66-77, the Red Sox are currently 5th in the AL.
Harry Steinfeldt, who finished 2nd in the NL in hits with 201 in 1906, won the game with a 2-run double in the bottom of the ninth. In the contest, the Boston pinch hitter was 1 for 1 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"No one can call baseball boring," said Red Sox manager Jimmy Collins. "Not after a game like that."
