Indians Take Down White Sox, 4-3
Comiskey Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox.

The Cleveland Indians faced a tough opponent in Chicago pitcher Hippo Vaughn, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Comiskey Park by a final score of 4-3. Vaughn went 9 innings and allowed 3 runs. Hub Perdue got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 3 runs on 12 hits in 9 innings.

In the top of the tenth, second baseman Heinie Zimmerman hit a run-scoring double to right. The double, which was hit off of Burt Keeley, gave Cleveland a 4-3 lead.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Zimmerman after the game.

The White Sox drop to 6-10.
