Indians Rally For Late Win Over White Sox
The Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians left the fans buzzing.

Cleveland Indians starter Stan Dougan turned in a top-notch performance against the Chicago White Sox at Somers Park. The result was a win for the Indians, 3-2. Cleveland reliever Harry Kane picked up the win to move to 2-0. Red Hoff suffered the loss.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Heinie Zimmerman had a chance to end it. Chicago pitcher Red Hoff had other ideas. But with no outs, Zimmerman hit a walk-off 2-run double. The Indians had the win.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Zimmerman. "But I like how we're playing right now."

The hot start continues for the defending champion Indians. This was their 16th win in 23 games.
