6 Straight Wins for Indians
Conditions were not ideal but Cleveland and Chicago were able to put their game in the books.

The Cleveland Indians got a stellar performance from pitcher Hub Perdue, who handcuffed the Chicago offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Comiskey Park. Perdue went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 10 hits, walked 1, and struck out 4. His record improves to 6-2.

Cleveland shortstop Ray Chapman helped his team take an early lead. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

In comments to the Cleveland Observer, Perdue insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.

The victory gives the Indians a record of 28-15.
