Braves Win at Cincinnati, 1-0
The Boston Braves got a magnificent performance from pitcher Flame Delhi, who muffled the Cincinnati offense en route to a tight 1-0 Braves win at Redland Field. Bill Lelivelt, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. The NL-leading Braves are 32-16.

Birdie Cree was vital part of the Boston win. He was 1 for 4. In the top of the sixth with one out, Cree hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 1-0, in favor of the Braves.

"This was a game where every at-bat, every pitch counted," said Delhi.
