Pittsburgh Gets 11-6 Road Win
The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Cincinnati Reds, 11-6, at Redland Field. Pittsburgh shortstop Jack Sheehan had an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 runs. Pittsburgh pitcher Ben Harris got the win, upping his record to 8-8. Matt Clark got the loss. Pittsburgh is 4th in the NL with a record of 32-33.

A key moment came with two out in the top of the fifth. That's when Sheehan hit a fastball from Matt Clark for a run-scoring triple, putting Pittsburgh up, 6-3.

Sheehan said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
