Chicago Southpaw Tosses 4-0 Shutout
|
20-year-old Chicago Cubs pitcher Rube Bressler had a strong outing against the Pittsburgh Pirates at West Side Park today, keeping them off the scoreboard the whole game. He struck out 3 in the 4-0 win and walked 3 while surrendering 7 hits.
"Hopefully there will be plenty more of these in the future for us," he said.
