St. Louis Gets 3-1 Win Behind Lefty Kroh
|
St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Rube Kroh whisked his team past the Chicago Cubs, 3-1. Now 3-7, the Cubs have gotten off to a poor start.
Kroh twirled a complete game, limiting the Cubs to 1 run on 5 hits. The left-hander struck out 4 and walked 1.
"I'd like to pitch a complete game every time," said Kroh.
