Boston Gets 3-1 Win
|
Boston starter Flame Delhi had a strong outing against the Cincinnati Reds at Redland Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-1 win. With the win, Boston pushed its record to 58-38.
Having an impact for Boston was Ty Cobb. In the top of the fifth inning, the 1913 Chalmers Award winner had a run-scoring single to make the score 2-0, Braves.
