The Pittsburgh Pirates picked up a win at Robison Field, courtesy of Tom Seaton. The right-hander helped his team stop the St. Louis Cardinals, 2-1. St. Louis falls to 8-5.
Bris Lord drove in one run for Pittsburgh. In a tie game with no one out in the top of the seventh, Lord came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Pirates in front, 2-1.
Lord said his team "played with determination."
