Duffy Twirls Rebels to Shutout Win

It was a long day at the plate for the Indianapolis Hoosiers at Greenlawn Park today. They never figured out Pittsburgh Rebels starter Ed Duffy and were shut out 5-0. The right-hander baffled the Hoosiers the entire game, yielding no runs and giving up 3 hits in a well-pitched outing. Duffy also totaled 4 strikeouts and 6 walks in the game.
Thus far this season, Duffy has tossed 118.1 innings in 15 starts, fanned 49 batters, walked 36 and put up a 3.27 ERA with 8 wins and 5 losses.
