The St. Louis Browns whipped the Detroit Tigers 5-0 at Sportsman's Park IV today behind a masterful outing from starter Elmer Criger.
Criger shut out the Tigers on 3 hits and 5 walks. He registered 1 strikeout over 9 innings.
"Velocity felt good, everything felt good today," a smiling Criger said later. "Command felt good, conditions felt good, glove felt good, hat felt good. Seriously everything."
