Hogg Now 17-9 After Subduing Browns
|
The Washington Senators picked up a win at National Park, taking down the St. Louis Browns, 3-1. Starting pitcher Bill Hogg was a big reason why. St. Louis's current losing streak has reached 7 games.
Hogg, the winner, is now 17-9 after putting the clamps on the St. Louis offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 5 hits, while collecting 7 Ks.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Hogg told the Washington Gazette.
