Cobb Fuels 9-2 Boston Triumph
The bat of Ty Cobb helped the Boston Braves top the Cincinnati Reds, 9-2. Cobb was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for Boston. Boston now has a record of 87-55 with the win.

"We took it on the chin today," said losing manager John Mullen.
