Cleveland rode a good effort from starter Cack Henley to beat the New York Yankees at Somers Park. The final score was 3-2. Cleveland, with the win, is 19-7.

Making an impact for the home team was Heinie Groh. In the bottom of the sixth, the 25-year old third baseman had a run-scoring double. That made the score 3-2, Indians.

"We had a good game plan," Henley said, "and we were able to execute it."
