The game ended in walk-off fashion, much to the delight of the home crowd.

The Boston Red Sox trumped the Cleveland Indians, 6-5, at Somers Park. Boston left fielder Ken Williams was terrific. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Cleveland drops to 22-9.

In the top of the tenth, center fielder Bill McCabe hit a run-scoring double to left. The double, which was hit off of Doc Crandall, gave Boston a 6-5 lead.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Williams. "Those qualities define our team."
