Brooklyn Gets 2-1 Win Behind Lefty Byram
The Brooklyn Robins eked out a 2-1 win versus the Cincinnati Reds at Ebbets Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Herb Byram. He was terrific. The win has Brooklyn at 14-16.

Byram went the distance for Brooklyn, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 7.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Byram told the Brooklyn Daily.
