Senators Drop 7-2 Decision to Indians
Cleveland took on Washington in front of a lively crowd.

Cleveland starter Doc Crandall pitched effectively against the Washington Senators at National Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-2. With the win, Cleveland raised its record to 30-19.

Heinie Groh was vital part of the Cleveland win. He was 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth with one out, Groh hit a run-scoring triple. It made the score 2-1, in favor of the Indians.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Crandall.
