Senators Resilient in 4-3 Win Over St. Louis
The Washington Senators electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.

Washington picked up a win at National Park, bumping off the St. Louis Browns, 4-3. Pitcher Bill Lattimore was a major reason the Senators emerged victorious. Lattimore went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 8. His record improves to 1-1.

Everett Scott won the game with a 2-run double in the bottom of the ninth. In the contest, the Washington shortstop was 2 for 4 with a triple and a double, while adding 3 RBI.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Scott said in his postgame press conference.

St. Louis has now lost 5 consecutive games.
