Red Sox Take Down Senators, 4-3
The Boston Red Sox and Washington Senators played an exciting game.

The Boston Red Sox picked up a win at Fenway Park , knocking off the Washington Senators, 4-3. Starting pitcher Phil Douglas was a big reason why. Boston pitcher Guy Morton got the win. He's now 8-9. Kid Speer was tagged with the loss.

Ken Williams was the walk-off hero for Boston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Sox left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Williams told the Boston Citizen.

The victory gives Boston a record of 38-37.
