Yankees Bounce Indians, 6-2
The New York Yankees picked up a win at Somers Park, taking down the Cleveland Indians, 6-2. Starting pitcher Red Ames was a big reason why. The Yankees have an impressive 50-29 record.

In the top of the third inning of a 0-0 tie, New York center fielder Amos Strunk reached on an error by the C, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put New York on top, 1-0.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Ames.
