Indians Make It 4 Straight with 5-2 Win
Cleveland Indians starter Stan Dougan pitched a strong game against the Washington Senators at Somers Park, leading the Indians to victory, 5-2. Dougan went the distance for Cleveland. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. Cleveland is now riding a 4-game win streak.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when center fielder Shoeless Joe Jackson, who finished 2nd in the AL in slugging percentage with .471 in 1910, hit a run-scoring double. The Indians went on to win.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Jackson said.
