Browns Prevail, 3-1, Over New York
In a low-scoring tilt between the St. Louis Browns and the New York Yankees, Dutch Leonard was the difference-maker. The St. Louis left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The Browns raised their record to 34-56.

The Browns got an important contribution from shortstop Happy Felsch, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 0-2 changeup into left for a 2-run double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Browns ahead, 3-1.

"I had a good game," said Felsch. "Winning makes it even better."
