The Washington Senators picked up a win at National Park, knocking off the St. Louis Browns, 4-2. On the mound for Washington was right-hander Al Bonner, who played a pivotal role in the win. Bonner went the distance for Washington. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. With the victory, the Senators upped their record to 51-48.

Washington took a 4-2 lead on William Rumler's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off St. Louis pitcher Bob Shawkey in the bottom of the seventh.
