Brooklyn starter Frank Arellanes pitched well against the Chicago Cubs at West Side Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Arellanes went 9 innings to notch the win. The Robins got a gift in the top of the first inning, when they were leading 2-0. With two out and the bases loaded, John P Henry reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-0, Brooklyn.
