The Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians delighted fans at Somers Park.

The Cleveland Indians defeated the Washington Senators, 8-6, in AL action at Somers Park. Cleveland pitcher Hub Perdue had a standout performance. Harry Kane converted his 11th save in 12 tries.

Shoeless Joe Jackson's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning was a big one for Cleveland. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Cleveland trailing 6-4, the center fielder hit a 2-run single.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Jackson.

The win puts Cleveland at 69-46 this season.
